So -what were we doing in Denver?
ALL OF THE THINGS.
If you follow us on social media, you may have noticed that a good chunk of the Lou Realty Group office left town (STL- you’re still the real MVP) and ran off to the mountains. Part work, part play – we didn’t waste a second of our time spent in Denver.
We started our week off with the “Spring Real Estate Mastermind” event – sponsored by Calibrate Real Estate & Stewart Title. This was an exclusive event available to 30 under 30’s and it serves as a “Reunion” platform of sorts. Thankfully, the Mother of LRG – Lucy Feicht – was able to weasel in her support system aka the rest of us. (Is there a 60 under 60 somewhere I can apply for? Fair question) From 9AM to 4PM we sat and listened to a number of individual speakers/interactive panels – these impressive minds presented us with boatloads of success AND failure stories, advice, and inspiration. The entire room was engaged and we all left with TONS of ideas on how to apply this collected information to our individual brands.
Needless to say, we’re pretty stoked to incorporate some of what we learned into our marketing and overall brand identity! Hopefully you’ll notice when we do 😉
Once school was out of session, the LRG crew did what the LRG crew does best –
WE ATE.
And drank – we definitely also drank.
There is just something about visiting another city that makes you want to TRY EVERYTHING. I think we came close. From brunchin’ at Snooze, OneFold, & Denver Biscuit Company to the unbelievable dinners & desserts at Rootdown & Linger (seriously – we can’t rave enough about these spots) apps & cocktails at Old Major and Williams & Graham, all the way to the late night $60 Pizza Hut order (please, no judging) we basically rolled our round bodies onto the plane to get home.
Pounds gained: At least 10 collectively
Regrets: ZERO
In efforts to offset the gluttony – we did manage to tackle a hike at St. Mary’s Glacier. It was rated beginner but somehow felt nothing short of expert.
Naturally, after completing the hike we rewarded ourselves after with drinks & snacks in Idaho Springs.
It’s a vicious cycle.
Before leaving, we spent a day exploring the residential areas of Denver. You can’t help but notice how unique each home truly is. We know, we know – how RIVETING. But would we even be Realtors if we didn’t pay attention to things like this?
All in all, Denver was good to us.
We can’t wait to go back 🙂
